About Us

Ahlam Stabl Antar began in 1999 when a group of friends discovered the hidden hardships of informal settlements in Old Cairo. What started as simple charity evolved into a sustainable development model that addresses root causes like illiteracy, unemployment, and poor healthcare.

Start of leather and wood inlay workshops

Capacity and skills development programs in partnership with several institutions

Provision of various health awareness services and treatment support programs for COVID-19 cases

Opening of kindergarten (preparatory) classes attached to the school

Launch of the arts activities program for students and staff (theater, storytelling, percussion)

Expansion of the school building (new annex)
